One frame. Three interchangeable doors. The FRED Door is a multi-tiered ship door simulator that allows the breacher to scale the door in difficulty based on ability and objective. One door is built specifically for center punch breaching. The other two are built for breaching the door’s edge from the frame, which also includes addressing the dogs. You choose between two thicknesses of door, three thicknesses of consumable dog, and 3 gauges of center-punch metal. Excluding the 3-hinged side of the door, the ENTIRE door is a consumable. Its ability to be customized by thickness/gauge of metal and type of dog allows you to recreate the type of onboard ship door you need to train on.

The Breakdown:

• Hard-Hinge and Frame System
  Reinforced no-flex ship door frame system. Realism is our aim in engineering this ship door so we created the frame equivalent to the functionality of the structure found on maritime ships. The frame is reusable and all three consumable door systems are interchangeable on our frame. Monster Base Plate & Extension Plates included. Forklift Header standard for transport and staging.

• Center-Punch Breaching Door
  A reusable door configuration housing with a consumable center panel is installed into the framework of the door. Breaching the door via saw cutting, piercing, prying, exothermic cutting becomes real as the center panel is structurally tied into the door thereby reacting equally to a real ship door.

• Medium-Duty Fully Breachable Door
  A complete consumable door designed for medium-resistance breaching evolutions. With a 1/8” skin, this reinforced door replicates 90% of watertight ship doors. Complete with 9 dogs pinned through the frame to realistically lock in the door’s tension, it allows for a multitude of strategies for breaching depending on tools at hand, skillset, and objective. The entire door is used (consumed) during training and then replaced afterward.

• Heavy-Duty Fully Breachable Door
  A heavier consumable door as compared to the medium-resistance above. With a 3/16” skin, this over-reinforced door is ~100% of watertight ship doors. We intentionally over-engineered it and tested it to ensure maximized tool usage and tactics by the breacher. This higher-resistance, more demanding door is meant to create problems that when overcome in training will result in real world ease when downrange. This is also a full-use 9-dog door that is breached, discarded and replaced after the evolution.

• Heavyweight Consumable Doors: 3/16” Skin. Equivalent to nearly 100% of watertight doors. Intentionally over-reinforced to ensure maximized tool usage and tactics

• Dogs Quantity: Choice of thickness 1/4”, 1/2”, and 3/4”
